OSM960 OPTEK Six Element SMD Photodiode Array

OPTEK Technology, Inc.six-element photodiode array is designed for use in incremental encoder applications. The device provides differential, analog outputs for A and B quadrature channels plus an index or marker pulse channel. Fast response times and high sensitivity are provided by the large active areas of the photodiodes. The signals are suitable for both low- and high-resolution applications. The array is housed in a 12-pin, SO style surface-mount package that features a choice of holes or pins for alignment of reticles or masks. The package is rated for operation from –55°C to +110°C. The array is suitable for use with encoder disks that are approximately two in. in diameter or greater.
