840 series cylindrical connectors

The 840 connector is designed for industrial applications.
It features 4 sizes of housings with solder contacts of Ø 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and 5 mm.
The snap-lock latch is a bayonet design and a mechanical indexing system guides the housings. Different insulator angling positions can be used to avoid incorrect connections.
The socket and the plug are available with male or female contacts.
Solder contacts are fitted into the insulator.

Enclosure: aluminium with alodine plating
Insulator: one-piece in neoprene elastomer
Contact: silver-plated copper
Mechanical endurance: 500 operations
Withstand voltage: 2000 Veff.
Max. rating per contact - Ø 1.5 = 11 A; Ø 2.5 = 25 A
- Ø 3.5 = 40 A; Ø 5 = 63 A
Contact resistance - cts Ø 1.5:  ≤ 1.5 mΩ
- cts Ø 2.5:  ≤ 0.6 mΩ
Insulation resistance: ≥ 5000 MΩ under 500 Vdc
Operating temperature: -40°C to +85°C
Sealing in accordance with NFC 20010: IP 61 (without gland); IP 65 (with gland)
