• Service-free operation
• Very good charging efficiency
• Expected Design Life: 3 to 5 years
• Good cycle durability according to discharge intensity, more than 1000 discharging/recharging cycles
• Extended shelf life at low self-discharge level
• Valve regulated design
• Absorbing GlassMatt technology in which the electrolyte is fully absorbed (AGM = Absorbing GlassMatt Technology)
• Mechanically strong ABS container, extremely flame-retardant according to UL94HB
• NP batteries can be operated permanently when lying on the side; any operation upside down is solely permissible for one discharge
• Corrosion reduction using a lead-tin-calcium alloy to extend service life
• Excellent high current performance

1) Depth of Discharge Detrimental to Service Life
|
|
The expected operating service life of the NP series is 3 to 5 years. This can be achieved under optimal operating conditions if a permanent battery temperature of 20°C is maintained. The battery with a float charge voltage of 2,275V/cell is charged and one of the local constant charging currents does not cross the effective ripple current value of 0,1CA.
